Croke Park, Weigh-In, 3 Stone and TV
So I'm finally getting around to this weeks weigh in post!
Last week was a bit of a mess. The arches of my feet have been aching, but towards the end of the week I bought the Scholl inserts for them which do seem to have helped, always good when the fecking things are £23. Bad craic, but the pain is subsiding, for the arches anyway. Unfortunately the inserts have pushed my feet up, exposing my heels to parts of the shoe it's not used to, and now I have agonising blisters, so no running has been done, and minimal walking, I have got those compeed plasters, but it's still quite sore to walk, I tryed getting on my bike, but that's sore too, so figured it would probably be smartest to avoid things that hurt my ankles, I wasn't expecting to have gotten the 3lbs I need for 3 stone anyway until next week, so wasn't fussed how things went.
Last Friday me and Gav had an awesome chicken salad in the garden:
Saturday was Westlife at Croke Park! I was heading down to Dublin, her lovely mammy and daddy were legendary enough to drive us down and then back up too!
I was worried about how I'd deal food wise throughout the day... but it turns out I needent have worried! I ate next to nothing the entire day! The only things available were burgers and chips, and most of you know I'm not keen on burger van crap, so I went without and munched on the small oranges and weightwatchers cookies I brought down, plus water. I think I only managed ten points that entire day which wasn't good. But anyway, lets see some pictures yes?
Posey picture of me and Gav before I left in the morning:
Meet my pretty red armband, golden circle baby!
My beloved backpack was ruined by a bastard of a security guy, ripped the zip despite me saying it was delicate and left me to pin it together for the rest of the day (Anna if you read this can you still remember his number? I still need to report that) Not even an apology! And all to take the lid of my bottle of water. Tool.
This was the wee american boy band wow, quite like Otown, remember them? Not my cup of tea, but quite good.
I didn't take any pictures of wonderland, because, frankly, I wouln't waste the memory on my card, or my battery power. They suck, enough for me to stick my earphones in my ears and listen to my ipod to get weird looks from the people surrounding me, Mark from westlife's boyfriend being one of those people (yup, he was behind me and totally aware of the picture I took of him - so much for me being discreet). Wonderland are like a budget Saturdays, who are a budget Girls Allowed. They're not my cup of tea, like Wow, but at least wow were good at what they did. It's obvious wonderland are only getting the money and chances they are because one of them is married to a westlife fella. That sounded harsh... I could have been worse though. Anyway, moving on.
I got a lot of video of Jedward. They were awesome, and they did blink182's all the small things! I could have died of happiness there and then!!! This is the only picture I got of John or Edward. They wouldn't keep still! I can't understand where their energy came from. total entertainers, and better singers and dancers than some other support... ehm.
And then some JLS pictures, also total entertainers. Seen them the day before I started all this weightwatcher stuff in the waterfront in belfast and they were just as good on Satyurday as they were back then.
A crowd picture, look how many thousands of people there are?!?! Madness.
And one of Croke looking pretty later at night with no flash
And a handful of my pictures, to be honest, I didn't take too many, too caught up in the atmosphere and great gig, and to be fair have loads from the two odyssey gigs last month (woo second row!)
Anyway, moving on to weigh-in chat!!!
Tuesday night was of course my weigh in, and I hit my 3 stone!
Doing my usual re-cap
Week 1= Initial starting weigh in
Week 2= -9.5lbs!
Week 3= -2lbs
Week 4= -5.5lbs
Week 5= -1.5lbs
Week 6= week off for easter
Week 7= -2.5lbs
Week 8= -3lbs
Week 9= -4.5lbs
Week 10= -2.5
Week 11= -2.5
Week 12= -2.5
Week 13= -1.5
Week 14= -1.5
Week 15= -3
So that's, shockingly, my three stone! In 14 weeks really. Only 11lbs until I get back to the weight I want to be at, my own personal goal. And I think about 5lbs more until i get the gold member status. Very pleased with myself! Only 8lbs to go until I reach the 50lb mark. Madness!
I of course got my lovely new sticker!
And my second (though it should be third 'cus my leader never actually gave me my first stone) Don't my stickers look pretty?
I'm very, very, very pleased with myself. And it's weird because a lot of people are really noticing it now and telling me I look different, which is odd, cus I don't. But what's also great is a lot of people are telling me I look more like myself again, which is exactly how I feel these days.
My new tv obsession, seeing as SuperSize vs SuperSkinny is over for the season, is Cook Yourself Thin! Only discovered this week I completely love Gizzi the wee retro looking chef in it. Channel four is currently airing the third season weekdays at 2:55, but they have the first season, which has a different kind of structure, but is still great, on 4od.
Yesterday's episode had a great looking aubergine garlic dip, I plan on making that soon. So very excited for trying that, I'll blog about that when I finally get round to it.
What does annoy me is the sponcer is Alli, that slimming pill company. Hate those things being advertised on TV, some people are impressionable and after quick fixes and those things won't last, you need to get yourself into a healthier mentality, another reason I love weightwatchers, this isn't a diet, it's me learning better choices, and I'm still allowed my treats. Anyway, I digress...
I wanted to recommend this, I threw out the box before I had a chance to take a picture, but it's a weight watcher own brand chocolate brownie dessert, at 3 points per pot, two in the pack and currently on offer in tesco for only £1. It's awesome, incredibly rich, but incredibly good.
And if you have managed to read all of this... well done you!
That's me for now. Should really go ready myself for work.
